what?! only one comment?! good lord - people must be blind This is beyond description - the intricacy here is so fantastic and the fading colors in the background make the black image pop out that much more. I just love it - there's nothing else i can say lol - every part of it...especially the designs playing in between the lines like intricate spider webs. just, wow.

HOLY CRUD, this was done with paint?? Now that's what I call damn impressive! This is one of the most unique phoenix designs I've encountered here on DA, and so elaborate as well... *stares* the intricate swirls and details are incredible, and there's no way in hell I could attain the right artistic vision (or patience ) to design a phoenix in this way. Everything about it is beautiful, but I'm especially drawn to the head profile which looks so regal! ^.^ This was a very thoughtful gift as well, and your teacher is very lucky to be able to display a phoenix in her home! (Hee hee, I'd have no trouble deciding where to put it - right over my bed! ) Gorgeous stuff, and you've definitely done the phoenix incredible justice!
